Hello, I'm Amanda!

Amanda Agalar, PT, DPT

I'm a Physical Therapist with a passion for all things kids and babies. I enjoy being silly, attentive, and supportive to the families I work with. I find that kids are engaged when they're having fun and parents are empowered when they feel supported - both are important when working together to get better!

My Story

I studied Physical Therapy at the University of Hartford, graduating in 2010 with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

As a graduate student, I completed clinical rotations with a national Orthopedic Physical Therapy provider, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

During my coursework at Shriners, I had the amazing opportunity to work with international families and children with numerous conditions. This is when I realized working with kids and families was for me!

Following graduation, I've practiced as a Physical Therapist on both the East and West coasts, having the pleasure of working with infants and children with developmental movement delays, Torticollis, and more in both a traditional office setting as well as in their homes with the Birth-to-Three program.

Parenting is a tough job.

Since becoming a Mom to my own little ones, I've learned, when you have a child who isn't feeling great, your job gets even tougher!

There is nothing harder than getting a little one into the car when they aren't feeling well (or maybe they just can't quit playing).

How great would it be if I brought Physical Therapy to you?

Helping little ones in the comfort of their home, and making your day just a little easier (hopefully)!

I hope to can make your little or big one feel better and your day just a bit easier too!
